Cause of the Crash

Based on the limited information provided in news reports, it is not clear what exactly happened in this Highway 395 accident, and who was responsible. In multi-vehicle collisions, it is common for more than one party to contribute to a collision. Without more information, it is impossible to determine or even speculate what happened. This accident could be caused by driver negligence, drunk driving, falling asleep at the wheel, tire blowout, brake or steering failure, or a dangerous road condition. Law enforcement will investigate all possible causes.

Personal injury and Wrongful Death Liability Considerations

While this San Bernardino County accident remains under investigation, the families of the victims of this accident would be well-advised to consult with a skilled California highway accident attorney. An attorney can help the victims protect their legal rights and recover the maximum financial compensation they may be entitled to from whoever is determined to be at fault for this Highway 395 crash. Especially in collisions involving commercial vehicles (i.e. tractor trailers) it is so important to contact an attorney quickly, to preserve evidence and witness statements as soon as possible.
