CONCORD - A 60-year-old homeless man tragically died early Sunday, February 20, 2011 after he was struck by a car in the 4000 block of Clayton Road, the Concord Patch reported. The fatal Contra Costa County pedestrian accident occurred near Rosal Lane about midnight. The man, identified by the Contra Costa County coroner's office as Glenn Davis, was struck by a vehicle driven by a 51-year-old Concord woman. Witnesses reported that the man was standing on the center median when he stepped into traffic. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
