Car vs. Bicycle Accident Personal Injury Liability
If investigators determine that negligence of the driver of the Prius caused this accident, the driver may be liable for the injuries sustained by the cyclist. Following an accident such as this one, the family members of the injured cyclist would be well-advised to seek a consultation with an experienced and knowledgeable northern California bicycle accident attorney. A lawyer who specializes in handling bicycle accident injury claims can ensure the victim's rights are protected, and advise the family of their best course of action following this accident. As a general rule, it is advisable to consult with an attorney as soon as possible following an accident, while evidence and witness recollections are most easily preserved.
