Feb 1, 12 05:21 PM Pfizer Recalls 1 Million Packages of Birth Control Pfizer Inc. is recalling fourteen lots of Lo/Ovral-28 tablets and 14 lots of its generic brands Norgestrel and Ethinyl Estradiol. The recall has been issued after Pfizer discovered that some packages of birth control had too many active pills while others had to few. The packaging error is estimated to have affected one million packages of birth control packages. Patients relying on any of the affected birth control packets are encouraged to use alternative contraceptives, as this month's packet may not be effective.
