Two People Killed in Highway 113 Crash in Sutter County

CA113seymore.jpgROBBINS - Two people died and at least one other person was seriously injured in a violent car crash early Thursday morning in Sutter County, the Sacramento Bee reported. The accident, involving a Honda automobile, occurred on Highway 113 near Seymour Road, at about 5:20 a.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2011. The Honda reportedly went off the road, struck a tree, and overturned in a shallow canal. One person was flown to a hospital by helicopter with major injuries. News 10 reported there were two vehicles in the collision. It was not clear what caused the July 7th accident.

Cause of the Sutter County Accident

The CHP is investigating the double-fatal accident in Sutter County. In this accident, news accounts did not provide any information as to what caused the crash. CHP investigators will surely look at possible causes such as speeding, driving under the influence, driving while distracted, unsafe passing, falling asleep at the wheel, and other causes in determining what happened and who was responsible.
