SHASTA COUNTY - A motorcyclist suffered injuries to his hip and forearm when his motorcycle clipped a big rig on Highway 273 Friday morning, the Redding Record-Searchlight reported. The accident occurred at about 8:30 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2011. The impact of the collision caused the man, who was not identified, to slide into gravel along the highway.
