LOS ANGELES - A four-vehicle collision early Wednesday morning on the southbound 405 Freeway left one person with life-threatening injuries, the LA Times reported. The collision was reported just south of Getty Center Driver at 4:30 a.m. Six people were involved in the crash, and five of the victims were taken to a local hospital. The cause of the December 28th Los Angeles car accident was not immediately clear.

GLENDORA - A crash involving a Wal-Mart big-rig truck and several other vehicles left one person with major injuries, the Pasadena Star News reported. The accident was reported in the westbound lanes of the 210 Freeway, east of Grand Avenue at about 5 a.m. At least one person was taken flown to a local hospital by helicopter with major injuries. The cause of the April 29th Los Angeles County semi-truck accident remains under investigation. Based on the limited information provided in news accounts, the cause of the accident is unclear.

Motorcyclist Critically Hurt in El Monte Crash

The accident was reported at 5:17 p.m. at the intersection of Santa Anita Avenue and Bryant Road on December 11, 2010. The motorcyclist, who was not identified, suffered major head trauma and was taken to Los Angeles County - USC Medical Center. The cause of the El Monte motorcycle accident remains under investigation.

Woman Struck by Car in Whittier Crosswalk

A woman suffered major injuries after she was struck by a car Tuesday afternoon in Whittier, the Whittier Daily News reported. The accident occurred at about 2:45 p.m. on December 7, 2010, at the intersection of Philadelphia Street and Painter Avenue. The pedestrian, identified as a 55-year-old Downey woman, was in the crosswalk when she was struck by a car making a left turn from westbound Philadelphia Street to Southbound Painter Avenue. The injured pedestrian was flown by helicopter to Los Angeles County USC Medical Center, according to news reports.

Man Exiting Bus Fatally Injured by Torrance Transit Bus

Torrance Police are investigating a tragic accident that killed a bus passenger exiting a bus in Torrance on Thursday afternoon. A man in his 40's slipped and fell November 19th after exiting the bus and stepping onto the sidewalk, and fell backwards under its wheels. The bus then ran over the man, who died at the scene of the accident. The fatal accident occurred at 4:30 p.m. at Torrance and Crenshaw Boulevard.
