Young Girl Struck and Killed by Car in East Palo Alto
SAN MATEO COUNTY -- A 6-year-old girl was struck and killed by a car in the city of East Palo Alto, San Francisco Chronicle reported. This tragic accident occurred around 8 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Bay Road and Gloria Way, when a girl, Sioreli Torres Zamora, was hit while she was walking through a crosswalk with her mother, Guadalupe Zamora, and her two younger sisters. The mother and the two sisters were reported not be injured in this accident. Following the collision, East Palo Alto police spokesman said the crash will be investigated and that the driver of the car, Flisha Whiteparker, was not arrested.
